Common Redshanks:

KN - ringed on 8-Nov-21 as 1st winter; 12th sighting from Mai Po, Nam Sang Wai and Shenzhen

NN - ringed on 29-Apr-22 as adult; only the 3rd sighting: Sep-22 at Mai Po and Aug-23 at Shenzhen. Good to see it again after 1.5 year!

UU - ringed on 28-Sep-22 as adult; 10th sighting, mostly from you at Nam Sang Wai.

VD - ringed on 26-Nov-22 as adult; 6th sighting from mai Po and Nam Sang Wai.

PC - ringed on 2-Sep-22 as 1st winter; only the 2nd sighting; last seen 30-Sep-22 at Mai Po. Great to learn that it is still alive and well.

ZV - recently ringed on 3-Jan-25as adult; 1st sighting.

Pied Avocet Y2 - ringed on 14-Jan-21 as adult; 5th sighting: Feb-21 and Feb-22 at Nam Sang Wai; Mar-22 at Mai Po and Jan-23 in Shenzhen. Good record!

SX - ring 28-Sep-22 as 1st winter bird; 4 sightings from Mai Po, Pok Wai, Shenzhen Futian and last seen at Nam Sang Wai by you in Dec-24.

Common Redshanks:

KN - ringed 8-Nov-2021 as 1st winter bird; 12 sightings from Mai Po, Shenzhen Futian and Nam Sang Wai; last seen by you on 18-Jan-25.

XT - ringed 15-Nov-23 as adult; 7 sightings; mainly in Nam Sang Wai by you; last seen 22-jan-25 at Mai Po. It is carrying a GPS tracker, this bird breed in Far East Russia, near Sakhalin Island.

ZV - recently ring on 3-Jan-25 as adult; this is the 2nd sighting from you.

UP - ringed on 28-Sep-22 as 1st winter bird; this is only the 2nd sighting; last seen Aug-23 at Mai Po.

Y5 - ringed on 20-Sep-20 as 1st winter bird; 24 sightings from Mai Po and along Kam Tin River by you; last seen 22-Jan-25 at Mai Po. All the records I have in the database are between August to March, seems this bird usually come back to Mai Po early in the season (Aug) and then move to feed around Nam Sang Wai later in the season.

Pied Avocet N3 - ringed 14-Jan-2024 as adult; this is the 1st sighting.
