Dear members,
A total of eight Black-faced Spoonbills were seen from Mai Po boardwalk this morning. More wintering Black-faced Spoonbill will return to Deep Bay area soon. Some birds are fitted with colour rings on their legs and sightings of these colour-ringed BFS are very important for understanding their movement and home range. If you can see any of these ringed BFS, please report the bird with information of the position ('above' or 'below' the ankle, left or right leg) and colour (Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, White, etc) of the ring(s).

今天上午在米埔浮橋見到8隻個黑臉琵鷺。更多越冬的黑臉琵鷺將很快重返后海灣地區。有些鳥的腿上配有顏色的腳環，商是有助了解牠們的遷徙和活動範圍。如果你有看到這些有彩環的黑臉琵鷺，要報告消息的資料包括腳環的位置（“上面”或“低於”腳踝，左或右腿）和環的顏色（藍，綠，紅，黃，白等), 以及日期(時間)和地點。
