A scary bunting

This bunting hopped across a trail towards the woodland rushing to find a shelter in Maipo on December 1st.  The size as well as the buffy crown stripe suggested a little bunting except for the yellow spot on the chestnut cheek.  Have consulted with other experienced bird watchers with different opinions.
