This must be the individual that was regularly reported at Mai Po throughout the summer months and into the autumn. I hope it's survived - I haven't seen it since September.

Who knows, Great Crested Grebe might even breed in HK one day - it breeds only a few hundred km north in the Yangtse Valley.
