The Eurasian Hobby on 14th and 16th December is the second very late raptor record at Mai Po this year, following the Grey-faced Buzzard on 6th December.

The previous latest ever records for these species were 10 November 1991 for Grey-faced Buzzard and 5th November 2000 for Eurasian Hobby, according to my records. So both are really late records.
