No doubt that Leica is a good brand.  But if it's used for birdwatching, I wonder whether 8x25 is enough.  If you have a low budget, why not consume another brand but with at least 8x40?

I saw one shop in TST selling the Carl Zeiss Conquest 10X40 with HK$5800.  How does it sound to everyone?  How good is that binoculars?  I want to hear the comments too.

By comparing the spec of both Skyhawk Pro 10X42 and Zeiss Conquest 10X40, it seems to me that SkyHawk Pro 10X42 is better.

I have Conquest 8x30 and other 8x30 model of Steiner, both have good optics; given the the two, I would suggest you choose the one with the better price tag.
