I'm not sure I agree with the comment that it is not worth visiting Lai Chi Wo because you arrive too late. I accept that you will not arrive at Lai Chi Wo until mid-morning or lunchtime, but the birding along the way can be very good. I would recommend this area to anyone who is prepared to make the effort, especially in winter.
