Staty-breasted Rail and White-breasted Waterhen

2013-June-22

Ponds 16/17 at Mai Po

I don't think I've ever seen White-breasted Waterhen behaving so aggressively before, but they do have young around.  He chased the Slaty-breasted Rail right off the scrape !
