Peter, do you have more photos of the cuckoo?  It looks more like Asian Lesser than 'Oriental'.

Surely these are Gull-billed terns?  They certainly don't have the wing-tip pattern of Saunder's Gull.  it would also be quite an early date for Saunder's Gull.
