The thread below includes a map of the main birding areas of Po Toi

The areas circled in green are the best areas to see thrushes, except for Blue Rock Thrush which is mostly seen near the shoreline and rocks.

Most thrush species are present throughout the winter (Blue Whistling Thrush is a resident) but the peak time is around end November when they are on passage.

The Excel File below shows when by week during the year you can expect to see any migrant species on Po Toi - species down left side and weeks along the top. The weekly dates for the species listed do not include records of residents or summer breeders.

Code for each week is

No colour - not seen
Yellow - rare or small chance to see
Orange - moderate chance to see
Red - good chance to see

Yes. In the vegetation areas beneath and around the large trees, or in the trees themselves, usually the lower branches. And not every tree because thrushes move around.
And not in the Community Centre but in the vegetation and trees behind the Community Centre. You have to climb up the slopes there or try to find a viewing point alongside the Community Centre. There is also a concrete step path up into the trees a bit further towards the Temple (as marked on the map)

The best areas are
Around and to the right of the Ferry Pier
Up the concrete steps to the Sister's Cafe
Up the paths beside the School
Around the Helipad beside the lagoon
Behind the Community Centre

You have to be patient and listen for birds scraping on the ground.
