It surprises me that apparently more beaches in Hong Kong aren't like this, especially when Peng Chau Tung Wan has hundred of tourists and clammers digging on it every weekend/holiday.

Today, 5/15 was the first day I haven't seen any shore birds on Tung Wan beach in 2018. Another gray-tailed tattler appeared on May 5th, but that's the last besides the common sandpiper and little ringed plover which have been resident/semi-resident since December. (Besides the herons/egrets, the only shore bird seen so far this year not pictured is the Kentish Plover which arrived in 1s and 3s in bad weather in Jan/Feb)
