As David reported above, snipes have returned to LV. Number of Wood Sandpiper starts increasing also.
2 Pintail/Swinhoe Snipes were found on shallow water habitat managed by HKBWS.
In early August, a large-scale weed removal work was finished. Egrets, herons and sandpipers were attracted to this area. We are investigating the changes of bird assemblage in this area and also the time period of this effect.
