cattle Egrets turn up at Mai Po

I was sitting in the Tower Hide last week and was amazed to see about 60 cattle egrets drop out of the sky. This is the first time I've seen this spectacle out there. Neil.

Mai Po Nature Reserve,
Hong Kong,
China.

They may well be migrant birds which have just arrived.

Egrets are migrating around our coastline this month and in October.
