Nikon Fieldscope 82ED + P6000 for birding

Nikon Fieldscope 82ED + P6000 for birding

I tried to use my new Nikon P6000 attached with Nikon Fieldscope 82ED for birding today afternoon. I modified the camera bracket FSB-6 so that it can be used in P6000 and P5100.
This setting is better used in sunny day. Noise control of P6000 is not so good when using ISO400 or higher ISO, so I usually use ISO100 and set shutter speed not slower than 1/50sec. It's my first time to use this setup and need to take times to get better results.

I 'd like to share the pictures I took with this setup. Please kindly comment!
The information stated in the photos has typing mistake....FSB-6 instead of FSA-LI

Hi Mike,

is the FSA-6 meant for P6000 only?  i also have the 82ED and a P5100.  what is the adaptation you've made to the FSA in order to use the P5100?
Digital camera Bracket FSB-6 is designed for connecting 82ED and P5000 / P5100. If using on P6000, there 's no adaptors available for 82ED. I modified the FSB-6 for the P6000, making an extra adaptor ring(see pic) attach on P6000 and then screw on the FSB-6.

Mike,

What is the size of the adaptor ring (44mm to ?mm)?
Did you get it from the shop or tailor made?
FSB-6 is 44mm, I tailor made a 44mm to 46mm adaptor ring attached on FSB-6.
