American Wigeon (male)?

This bird was seen again today.  Much closer than what appears in your photos.  Hopefully some more photos will be coming soon.

Being familiar with this bird (I am from the U.S.) . . . I would say that it gives all appearances of being a male American Wigeon.  It was with several Eurasian species so the contrast was quite evident.
