小白腰雨燕保育方案介紹會
中文大學圖書館有全香港最大的小白腰雨燕群落，據統計至少有二百隻在那裡築巢棲身，佔全港總數二至三成。大學圖書館擴展工程期間，小白腰雨燕的生態或受影響；為能更妥善保護牠們，大學聘請了顧問進行生態評估，就保育措施作出一系列建議。
為使各師生對小白腰雨燕的保育計劃有更多了解，大學邀請了源智匯有限公司環保顧問及董事詹肇泰博士為大家講解，詳情如下：

Talk on Swift Conservation Plan
The Chinese University Library is home to the largest house swift colony in Hong Kong. It is estimated that at least 200 house swifts have built their nests there, accounting for 20 to 30 percent of their entire population in the city. The Library Extension Project might more or less impact the ecology of these house swifts. To better protect the birds, the University has commissioned a study on them.
Dr. Tsim Siu-tai from FYBR Hong Kong Limited, who is the external consultant of the study, will introduce the swift conservation plan to the University staff and students. Details of the talk are listed below:
