Sorry that I cannot open the webpage for ringed BFS.  I like to report that a ringed Black-faced Spoonbill is in the managed fishpond next to the fea ponds today in Long Valley.  Details of the rings are:
Left: Green-Yellow-Red
Right: Red "K81"

This bird is an adult, but an immature was present by his/her side.  It looks like a parant is moving around with his/her off-spring.

This BFS has visited Long Valley before on Dec2009. And it should be born in 2009 summer.

Yes, K81 has been recorded in LV about 2 years ago!! I am glad that it comes back again!!!
Tung said that K81 was seen in Mai Po this winter. This shows that the foraging range of BFS can be so wide!! From MP to LV!! This is a very good finding!!

起初忘了留意年份以為K81是塱原第一隻黑臉琵鷺的記錄。
