各位鳥友：

請注意，故意干擾、捕捉或傷害受保護的野生雀鳥，會有機會獨犯香港法例第170章《野生動物保護條例》。我們已將有關事件知會漁農自然護理署，並要求他們派人加強巡邏。

如鳥友發現有人進行這些行為，請盡量在安全情況下向他們解釋和勸止。如果未能阻止，請記下詳細資料包括時間和地點、拍照記錄，並盡快致電通知漁護署職員跟進，電話2471 4411 (漁護署米埔辦事處) 或1823電話中心，甚至即場報警求助。

We would like to remind all of you that willful disturbance, hunting or causing harm to any protected wild birds would put yourself at risk in violating the Cap 170 Wild Animals Protection Ordinance.  We have duly informed AFCD about the act and additional patrol is expected.

If you find people disturbing or causing harm to birds, advise against the act when it is safe to do so.  If they cannot be stopped, please record details of the act including time and place, take photos and report to the AFCD as soon as possible (AFCD Mai Po Warden Post at 24714411 or Call Centre at 1823).  Or you may report directly to the Police instead.
