Villages near Long Valley

There are four indigenous villages and one non indigenous village near Long Valley. For indigenous villages, Ho Sheung Heung locates at the north of Long Valley, while Tsung Pak Long at the south-east, Yin Kong and Kam Tsin at the south. Kwu Tung is the non indigenous village locates at north-west of Long Valley.

Ho Sheung Heung, Yin Kong and Kam Tsin village belong to the Hau's clan while Tsung Pak Long is composed of 5 clans: Wong, Kan, Lau, Kwong and Chan.

Indigenous village is village that exists before 1898. Lands Department has a complete list of indigenous villages in Hong Kong. Male decendants from these villages are allowed to build a small house with land premium waived within the village area.
